The Brother MFC-J5945DW is a well-equipped multifunction printer (MFP) that shows how inkjet technology can be more affordable and flexible than lasers for small office use. However, it does come with some trade-offs in terms of print speed and consistency.
Like many of Brother’s office printers, it has a large and bulky design, especially when trays are extended for A3 paper. This MFP offers automatic duplex printing, and it can scan double-sided pages onto one sheet using its 50-sheet ADF. The 9.3 cm touchscreen display is responsive and makes navigation easy.
While it's a strong choice for A3 printing and high-volume tasks, it falls short if you need to scan A3 documents or demand perfect print consistency every time.
